It looks 70s/80s from the badge on the toob. The motor looks like early '90s.

The year is the last 2 digits of the serial number (on the ally strip on top of the transom)

Motor is '93 to about '96 I think from the graphics though may have been sold much later if it's an ex RNLI. They are excellent engines-possibly the best 2 stroke 40hp ever produced and it'll make the boat go very well.

Absolutely... That 5.4 would be a great little boat. Launching a boat that size on your own realy isn't a problem with a little practice. I launch my 5.9m Hurricane all the time...
