RIBase
compare boat (rib) insurance

Hi
Just changed my car and had quite a good experience with car insurance compare sites is there any such sites that compare for rib insurance.
I am with Portcrawl at the moment and last 4 years (15%) but bigger newer boat insurance doubled more than the 4by 4 car.
Any ideas for comparing or is it just a ring round time on the phone
Stuart

I am also insured with Porthcawl. I did ring around a couple of seasons ago and found that they were very competitive. I have also found them to be pleasant to deal with, but there again insururers always are until you want to make to a claim!

Noble are also very helpful and cheap. Alot of people wouldn't insure my 16ft boat on a mooring for 12 months. I spoke to Noble explained where and what the mooring was like and they were happy to insure it.
My Dads boat is with Porthcawl.
