The position of the hatch on the front face of your console will cause you problems fitting a screen. Are you able to move the hatch to a lower position?

Have you seen Nugent's thread on the home page about making a screen out of polycarbonate, as mentioned by Sonar in post 5 above?

However, it has stood up to 3 years battering so far, was cheap to make and I was amazed at how much wind it took off me. I know it's never going to win style points but it does do the job required. Just watch out for sharp edges and file them down!
