Console wings

The biggest downside my my RIB is that it’s cold. You all know you are very exposed. Well a cabin RIB isn’t in my future so I had the local canvas man make up some wings. They look good. Hopefully I can get out soon to see how they help.

Sorry, having trouble with the photos. Please stand by....

why am I getting "invalid file" on everything I try to upload? I used to work.

On the app I can’t see the toolbar behind the keyboard. Is there a way to hide the keyboard?

Ok. The keyboard covering the attachment button is a bug. Fixed in the Tapatalk app. Seems to work.

Nice job - it will make a big difference. Out of curiosity - what are your air temps like when afloat? My one experience of a T-top was that it was bl@@dy freezing - the sunlight (even here) provides a great deal of heat into clothing.

Interesting point, I have been mulling over removing my T-top for a year now. I tend to think of it as providing blessed shade on hot days, it never occurred to me that its also denying much needed warmth.

We can be 50F and foggy, cold and damp. At 30+mph that’s a cold wind. The flip side being that when the sun comes out sunburn is an issue so the top is nice.

As a follow up we have made several trips with theses and it makes all the difference in the world. No wind standing at the helm to the point I have to remove layers as I get hot. My family reports that it’s so much more comfortable in the back on the beanbags. We forgot the once and they were not happy. It was a good investment!!
