converting an Avon SR4 FROM a jockey..

Hi, I'm looking at getting a searider but if I can't get the layout I'm looking for (2 or 4 seats, dashboard and windsreen) would it be an easy enough option to purchase one that has been converted to a jockey set up and return it back?
Obviously it would help immensely if it still has the spray lip at the very front.
Looking about though, it doesn't seem that the bits I'd really need, the dash being the most important (as I could make a screen) don't come on the second hand market too often.
Would people just recommend I just wait for a rib with the correct spec, or would a saving of £500-600 be worth it to have to source the parts (seats, dash, screen and possibly something to cover the bow with if it doesn't have a spray sheet).

Thanks

I was unaware that the 'Porn decks' fetched a premium, I thought that the centre consoles were more desirable.

Porn decks to show up regularly in the classifieds.

There's a very tidy white/white with a Honda BF45 for sale in Falmouth.

I'm likely to be making 20-30 mile round trips in it, so would rather be 'sat in' rather than 'sat on'. Just a personal preference really.
Any link to that boat?

thanks

Hi
I bought this SR4 with this seating which is handy for the kids, The bench seat was made from a base from the double seats.

I have an SR4 centre console and have owned seat on floor speedboats in the past. Unless it's bone flat, no way would I want to go out past the harbour wall sat on the floor.

Sat on the floor, every landing is transfered straight through the spine and there is little that can be done to alleviate this. When sat on a jockey/console, the knees become very effective shock absorbers, but if you prefer sitting on the floor, go for it.

No link, I was informed by word of mouth.
