Just agreed to purchase a boat located within this Marina. Have been advised to arrange a lift out of the boat onto our trailer rather than use the public slipway (next to the Estuary ?) as apparently it gets quite dangerous to use at this time of year. Anybody have any experience of the slip, should we book a lift or will we be ok to haul it out. Its only a Benny Flyer 550, using a single axle trailer weighing total 1300 Kgs. Recovering with a 3L D 4x4.

Any advice welcome. Would rather save the £90 odd for a lift if we can but don't want the locals giving us the old "we warned you" malarkey

Anyone know its location so we can google earth it

Ta!

you will have no problem recovering at the beacons slipway which is right next to the marina.....provided you do it at the top of the tide
