Cover for Valiant Dr490

Valiant no longer make the DR 490 since Brunswick bought them out. They are difficult to contact.
Hence my request for suggestions Old cover torn beyond repair. Any recommendations for replacement much appreciated. Including size brand etc
regards
Bill

Unfortunately no luck.
I think I'll purchase on EBay probably will use Ducksback uk they provide measuring on their site.
I reckon it will cost circa 100-120 eur inc postage from UK to Ireland
Any comment or suggestions much appreciated

RIBase
I think Ducksback covers (from eBay) have a reasonably good following on here? They might be worth a shot?

IMO, if you're planning to have the boat more than a couple of seasons, the Duck's Back type covers aren't great value. If there is a lorry covers maker close by, consider having a custom cover made. You can tow with them on and they can be pressure washed. They last for MANY years. I wouldn't expect to pay more than €200 for a piddly wee boat like that...

Cunningham Covers in Maghera are the go-to guys at the mo. They have a depot in Naas too. Dunno if their man Walter works down there - I'd guess he does tho.

Tried Cunningham covers
They need to see boat to measure. Seemed very professional, but won't be trailing boat to Nass in Kildare from Dunmore East. They cant make from boat plans, also indicative pricing circa 700eur is out of my budget

Gotcha - it was the Dublin on your profile that made me suggest them. €700 is silly money - my boating amigos and I have had around six covers made with them and the only one near that price was for a 10m RIB.

Hi Bill
I have managed through my local dealer in Kent... Power Products Marine to order a genuine outdoor Valiant cover for my V490 which is being made as we speak.
Cost is about £400. I just gave them my boat serial no and that was it !!
