Sorry looks like Cookee is out as he's pulled into Ramsgate.

Anyone about in Lymington now with wet weather gear for a trip to the Needles in about an hours (15.00), could be rough.

Shame. It was looking like hard work. Hot Lemon was going through it nicely though, not far behind the big boats at the front

I gather they've taken some water into the engine bay and are currently trying to get it fixed. Also sounds like there were some politics last night which saw one crew retire before they'd even started and drive home!

Cookee hit a rogue wave and stuffed big time, one of the engines sucked in some water, it looks like a head gasket has gone, let's hope it's not bend the rods.

That was what we thought but it looks like it might just be a top end job - I'll know more when it's apart later this week - I don't think it was water from the engine bay but some may have come up the exhaust?

We were going well and up in the top four at the time - really disappointed but that's powerboat racing for you.
