Creaky sticking / unsticking deck???

My deck has started to creak around the helm and navigator pods. Almost like the sound of the deck (plastic composite?) coming away and re-sticking to what is below (wood?). No sign of water ingress anywhere. I had a new fuel tank a year ago and the deck was taken up for that. Any ideas what might be wrong? Should I worry or ignore it?

Seems to be a common problem with Solent ribs. I have suffered with this unfortunately. We solved it in the end by removing the pod in question, then re fixed it with sikaflex and self tappers. Tell Solent about it and get them to have a look. In my opinion the way they "glue" furniture to the deck is very sub standard.

I will of course worry!

Yeah, she'll go to Kev and Lee for her Christmas service as usual. Anyone else have similar problems with Solents?

Paul (Jackeeen) has had similar problems to me with issues with backrests and hinges. I know someone with a 6.5 (Crime Pays) who has had issues with his deck at the front.

You just gave me a great idea Garf - if it's a wooden deck they could prise the knots out and pour a load of glue into the holes!!!
