Crew for Fleet Review Wanted
I was going to pop down to watch the fleet review on the 28th June but have decided to sign up for patrol duty.
At least one crew member is required
If anyone fancies spending the day on a RIB Monday/Tuesday ( 27th & 28th ) then please drop me an Email ( mark@ecc-limited.com )
Cheers
Mark

Don't think you will be doing much driving Mark... Your ferry gliding skills will probably be much improved though
See you there
Ian

Given the early starts I was thinking of staying Souhampton / IOW on Monday and maybe even Sunday night.
Anyone else got any plans.
Mark

Traffic in the Haslar area is heavy on a good day, think the whole area is going to be one big car park. I would suggest you get down to the boat very early.

Alternatively Ollie, you could get a lift round with us by boat. We will be berthed in Southampton and going your way anyway!

The youngest's Junior School is going to be closed for the day.. Partly so they can take part in the event, but mainly because there is no chance the teachers will be able to get to School cos of the traffic.. The last Fleet Review girdlocked the cars in the entire Gosport/Fareham area..

I am coming down on the Friday from the meeting in Ocean Village.
I will be staying in the Hamble for the weekend and for the event.
Maybe we should sort a get together out.
Anyone else doing the meeting on the Friday?

Jon, I think we're attending the same briefing as you. And I'm pretty sure we're staying down from Friday night onwards too as we have volunteered to help out with weekend duties as well as Monday & Tuesday. We'd definitely be up for meeting for drinks/meals/chats/whatever!
