I personally like them and find them very comfortable, but suggest you try before you buy as the high fit can take a little getting used to..... One of our larger marine clients has just changed to these for all their crew....

They can be had a for a lot less than the £220 price tag, but beware there was a bogus seller on ebay accepting best offers at £120..... I know because a friend of mine got caught (refunded by ebay no probs - looked okay /had feedback /related sales of marine equipment in history etc....)

Not 190N and without the crewsavers spray hood etc, but the 175N KRU Sport Pro waistcoat type is also worth a look IMO, and good value at less than £100

I have three of them, 2 adults ones and a child version, I ordered the childs one originally and tried it on the child....it looked very commfortable and he didnt moan about it at all, I had 2 marinepool ones on order for me and my partner which as on another thread were proving a pain...wrong ones sent terrible customer service from a large marine megastore....so I returned the marinepool ones and ordered 2 crewfit 190n plus.

Ordered on sunday and delivered this morning from marine superstore, you can see stock online and much, much cheaper than the price you are quoting, I would highly recommend them for delivery and price.

As to the jackets, they feel like a tight fitting waistcoat whilst wearing it, although I have only worn mine round the lounge it does feel very comfy, mine is the harness version as its all had they in stock, I think the only difference is in the back mesh part and its metal loop on the front. It does look a serious bit of kit, very high quality appearance to it and very easily adjustable whilst wearing. Its also a lot smaller than most others I have seen and sits higher on your chest which would suggest it would be harder to accidently set off if you go into some shallow water. Like I say I only just received them today and havent used it in anger yet!!!!

Also I am sure you are aware the plus version comes with a built in spray hood and light on it, to be honest I think its complete overkill for my own needs but will good for the future if I decide to do some lone sibbing!

Any questions feel free to ask.

Nick

Crewsaver Crewfit 190N Zip Plus - Lifejacket - Marine Super Store

I believe so... I assume the harness version is for sailing and has the clip in system

Looks like it hasn't and the one for £150 includes harness but no hood and lights.

If there's a hood there will be a light

Shame I still think im slimmer than I am, the medium musto br1's are too small, better lay off the bacon sandwiches for a while
