I could swear this boat was on ebay some time ago described as "brand new" - again in Norfolk.

I remember this boat without engine on e bay about 18 months ago from norfolk area.
It is listed with some other boats so he is a trader its not a Ribcraft maybee a splashed copy of our 4.8 but with a very poor tube connection and some rank inner deck gelling we will enquire about de listing it.
As a general warning there is a lot of thefts of boats at the moment and the gangs are swapping gear around to confuse the specs, if you are looking at second hand Ribcrafts give Jas or Dor a call we do our best to identify genuine boats.

I have seen the boat itself and you can make your own minds up.It is apparently out of a cromton mould by an ex employee.The tubes were aparently fitted by henshaws.(who has forgot to clean off on the underside the glue on tubes now leaving yellow stains).The deck is a high gloss gell coat.It does look new.The bottom chines that rest on the unsuitable trailer appear to have a hook in the (but some boats have this design) dont know if this does.I did not see any C.E Plate or makers Plate .The outboard was i think an coastguard spare and looks nice.Yes the name on it is ribcraft that the owner thought would give it credibility or breeding is what i think he said

Well, it sold for 4.5k.

if it's good then yes it was a good buy, if it's bad then it was not a good buy.

Boat relisted, so didn't sell for £4500.
