Two cruises for May that might interest:
May 4th / 5th / 6th (Bank Holiday w/e) East Coast Rivers
Fancy exploring a beautiful and largely unspoilt part of the coastline this May bank holiday? Come and join the BIBOA East Coast cruise, now in its 4th successful year!
The Suffolk and Essex coast offers an appealing mix of rivers, creeks and swatchways to explore. The area is an ideal cruising ground for all sizes of RIB and all levels of experience as there are opportunities for interesting cruises whatever the weather may be doing!
Our base will again be Suffolk Yacht Harbour at Levington nr Felixstowe which offers all tide access, slipping, petrol, diesel etc. Accommodation can be found in numerous B&B’s or Hotels in nearby Ipswich or Felixstowe and camping is also available nearby.
Proposed itinery:
Sat 4th: Assemble Levington Marina for 10:00am departure to Southwold to sample the fish and chips and of course the Adnams ale at the Harbour Inn.
Sun 5th Cruise south to either Brightlingsea or Bradwell and return
Mon 6th Explore the Orwell, Deben & Walton Backwaters.
Suitable for: RIBS of any size and skippers of any experience level.
May 18th / 19th - South West Cruise
At the opposite end of the Country...............
Join us for two days of coastal cruising from Plymouth.
Basic format is Devon (Salcombe / Dartmouth) one day and Cornwall (Fowey / Mevagissy) the next. Base is likely to be Mayflower Marina Plymouth (fuel on site + reasonable price berthing). Loads of B&B's / Hotels in Plymouth.
Again open to all sizes of RIB and all levels of experience.
