Custom "A" Frame design and build - Help.

Hi..

Struggling to find a Navigation frame to fit my small (4 meter) Rib... Caribe C13.

The generic style ones on Ebay just all look too big..

Any recommendation of companies in Solent/ Hampshire area that would be able to manufacture something suitable from stainless steel... and they wont pull my pants down over the price.

Ideas recomendations grateful recieved.

Never used him. But stainless Steve in lymington has quoted me for a job and the price seemed very fair

Did whisper not say he was doing some stainless work when he took over CustomRibs from biffer? Biffer was down that way somewhere - not sure if whisper took over Biff's workshop or moved the operation up to ?Swindon where he hangs out. Either way pm CustomRibs on here and point to this thread?

I'm still training with Biffer but can do everything with SS except weld it as Biff still does that bit. Doing welding this winter as we need to sit down when we get some time.

Designed a folding SS pole and bought all the parts to make it but almost fell off my chair when I paid for the bits!! Bought LED nav lights that were very expensive.

If the OP posts a pic (just draw it on a piece of paper and take a pic) of what he wants then I'll soon say if it's some thing that we can do soon

I would recomend stainless steve from lymington, well known for doing a great job especially custom work. He produced a new A-Frame for my cobra after I was let down badly by the supplier and they are complicated as the older versions have many curves. He did a great job and the cost was about half the price of the original manufacturer.

I can recommend Marine Fabrication as well, I followed Nick's recommendations, and drawing they did a great job on the stainless for me 😎
