Custom bench/seat Avon sr4

Hi there, I have recently bought an sr4 with a merc 60hp 2 stroke and need a bit more seating. Want to build a bench for the rear but worried about weight distribution and how to build it. 25l fuel tank is at bow would also possibly like to build a seat over it. Thanks

What seating set up have you got atm, center console or the side by side setup? I'm guessing you have the the side by side seating,.if you have I would go with the original layout of back to back.

My gut feeling is two folks at the very stern will unbalance things in what is a smallish boat.

Yeah that was my worry I was thinking about a bench right behind the jockey seat so a passenger on each side can hold onto the back rest.

Mine has a jockey with another central one behind it. Works well, battery and anchor in rear one. 3 adults sit comfortably 4 skinny squeeze on and get nice and personal!!

i have a fiber glass bench seat that is surplus to requirements bought it a while ago for the extra storage space and decided to not use it might be a bit big for a 4 meter boat i could get some measurements if you have any interest
