Custom Built Seat Backs

Evening,

Im thinking about replacing the seat back supports.

Being quite tall i would like something a little higher to rest against, particually when its a bit lumpy.

I would also like some of them Kidney hugging bits too cos

a) they hold you nice and tight and give you something to brace against

b) i think they give a lot more confidence to people. (particually those not used to the motion of a rib)

c) they look cool

I have e mailed Coastline to see if they can help but has anyone got any wise ideas,?

Any chance someone could take a few close up pics so i can see whats involved??

Thanks in advance.
Howard.

Dont really have time of skills to make them myseld but not sure if ribcraft ones would fit given the dimensions of my seats. (seem quite wide)

Any suggestions on SS fabricators who could knock some up for a fee? hence the request for pics.

Went to see a man today about some cushions so plan to get the lot done at the same time.

Rodan,

What cushion man do you recommend? Is he on the island? I'm currently waiting for a quote from my local one in yarmouth but would like to get a few quotes before I commit.

Thanks.

Howard...just about to send you a PM.

Tim

Thanks for your suggestions.

Tony, have used Carisbrook before and dont really want to go back.

Chris, will ave a look through that thread to find the details. where were they based?

Was out on it tonight and really want to do something. they are just too far back at the moment to stand or sit.

WIll have a better look at the weekend when i have more time but should be pretty simple i think.

Cheers
Howard
