Cheers Steve, gentle introductions definitely the best way. April Round Anglesey, perhaps not!

I t is really worth while to focus on the weather/timing on the first trips. I introduced my SR 5.4 to my 3 Youngest dothers, school age (the first 3-4 trips) in good , in easy conditions and now when they are kind of adapted to the whole setup, they are not afraid even if we get some rougher stuff. In fact, they get disappointed if the weather is to good, especially they like big following seas with a few minor stuffs...!

Ahh! the old golden rule No1, some people never learn

Nice photos BTW Paul, I've got one of my young 'un somewhere, fast asleep down the side of console half way up the Sound of Mull. She'd be about 12 months old.

Great photos - a very special time - enjoy every minute.

I started my 2 daughters at the same age and this was them this morning 14 years later.
