Well spotted Rupert! I can't go anywhere without being seen around here!!! Out again Sat/Sun/Mon for Torbay Harbour. Don't forget Red Arrows on Wednesday afternoon. Bank Holiday Sunday, Cowes-Torquay Powerboat Race.

Won't make the Reds on Wednesday work gets in the way
If the traffic's not to bad I can sometimes make it to the sea front in time to catch the show.

Keeping my fingers crossed the weather is good next weekend to go round and see them on the river, might even stay and watch the fireworks.

Pff, you clearly dont live where i live, up in Scotland
That's the BEST that the weather has to offer up here..

Nah, just joking.. we do get quite good weather around here, but not very often, and when it comes usually the rest of the UK has a flood warning or extreme thunderstorms.

But usually when i go out, there is no sun.. just clouds... drizzle rain.. and quite a breeze.

Manos, i would not survive in that climate, im as pale as a sheet of paper, and would probably burn alive with sunlight!

Anyone wanting to come and explore the area, there are rock pinacles underwater in loch sunart, you can spot anything from shrimps up to skates or dogfish.

intestersting tidal bay here, we have sandy beaches about 5 min from where i live in boat, but 45min walk. The coast here has plenty of launching posibilities, and there is also a free usage pier just up the road (but lack of parking space) We also rent out a static caravan. Ideal base to start exploring from, you are welcome to come and explore!

Whales are spotted regularly, along with basking sharks, Keith Hart has spotted some i've seen.

enough to set up a viable business here, except im diabetic, and i have read that thread.

Cheers,
Daniel.
