The annual Donaghadee to Portpatrick Ribraid will take place on 4th August 2002 starting from Donaghadee, Co. Down at around 11.30 am. This is the fourth year of what has been called the "biggest ribraid in the world" [..ish]. Around 50 RIBs, SIBs and a few others will be started by the Donaghadee Lifeboat and the Mayor of Ards Borough Council for the 20 mile crossing to Portpatrick (and back) to mark the end of Portpatrick Lifeboat Week.
