Delta X650 auction

Possible a UK originated RIB for auction over here?

If i only had the cash, would not mind upgrading the SR5.4 to a Delta.... First thing to do would be to cut the cabin away, and maybe change engine also. Guess would need +10 000 eur to take it home.

Not connected anyhow but if someone need translation or other help, no problem for me.

What is the approximately hull weight of a X650 ?

OK thanks. Its lighter than I expected. Guess it would shift well with a 150 hp, on the auction its a 115 Honda, maybe not the optimal engine. As a Delta, must have been an expensive package as new.

Second-hand Deltas are fairly rare this side of the pond too, but they do come up for sale occasionally. I know this 6.5m boat. Delta rib - FAFB

Nice looking boat!

The auction ended, highest bid was 9945 eur(not me), not sure if it was enough to collect the boat. There is also the CE issue, don't think the boat has the CE plate as it was made as workboat. Keep on dreaming...some day will have a Delta.

Right you are! However if you want the CE issue solved i think it can be done by a one off approval which will cost you about 1200 euro (at least that was the quote I got in the Netherlands for a boat CE without engine).

That's just what i was wondering? Very few come up for sale,seems anyone that has one tends to hold on to it.

Aftermarkin over here is expensive, for C and D category about 2000 eur +vat, A and B much more....For my own use would not mind having and unmarked RIB but selling it further for recreational use is another story, I might be indirectly responsible for next owners screw ups....

The seller did not accept the achieved price for the auctioned Delta, guess he is after approx 15000 eur.

When i purchased my SR, i also tried a few Delta 5.5 but its pretty hard to buy from distance,
not a mater of price but most sellers prefers domestic sales(understandable).
But some day....
