What are you Getting at WOT from that boat .... and whats the fuel consumption ??? I had alook at it while Gavin and I were crusing up there... How do you find the KAB seats ????
Tim,
At WOT (3500) the boat will do 36kts, not sure what the consumption is as I rarely run at this speed for any time but understand it is in the region of 30Lt/hr.
My wife did mention she saw a Redbay 7.4 having a nosey around the boat a few weeks back and when I saw your post on the cruise I guessed it must have been you.
The KAB seats are great and take the strain out of long runs. Only when it gets really rough do you need to stand as the seats start to bottom out on the stops. But as they can slide back this is no problem and there is plenty room to stand and use the seat as a bottom rest.
Rick, just a thought for you. Do your KAB seats have double dampers fitted? If not, this may be the problem because a single one will overheat after a while working hard.
If you do have double dampers, you may have to eat less...
