Diesel prices in the Solent area

Anyone know the best place to fuel up with diesel on the water in the Solent area?

Thanks

Allen,

I don't know exact prices but I think Yarmouth if pretty expensive compared with Lymington. At a guess I would say Yarmouth is 34p a litre, but it could quite easily be more. The facilities at Yarmouth are very good though.

I'll send my mate who works at the harbour a text to find out an exact price and will then post it.

Cheers

Tim

How many litres do you want I am having 500 gallons delivered today at an attractive price I can let you have a couple of hundred if you want.

Also Berthon in Lymington are quite reasonably priced as well.

Cheapest place in the solent is in Cowes. Not the first one but the Floating pontoon up the river, PAST THE CHAIN FERRY on the right. 32p last time I went I think..... but usually several pence cheaper than anywhere else.....

Apart from a place on the river thames near Staines..... but thats a long trip from the Solent!

Stop being a "Tight Git" and take it on the nose like we have to.
If you refuel in Yarmouth, mention my name and they will look after you. Dinner Friday evening / night Gunwharf? Alan P

Thank you all.

Rogue Wave - thanks indeed for your offer. Where are you? Motorways, traffic and trailer permitting we should be launching near Mercury on the Hamble tomorrow at about 0800.

Alan P thanks for your offer too, but why do I have the feeling that I'm being set up!

The forecast for the rest of the week in the sunny south looks miserable so with my delicate disposition I don't think we'll be going as far as planned before heading for Cowes on Friday. Rough seas I can handle but rain is just too much.

Cheers

Allen
