Do the work..... or sell?

I have a Searider 5.4 .... old but good.... (early 80s). She needs new valves ..4 in total, hence she goes abit soft after a day or so. She has a good level of kit with her... gps , plotter, fishfinder, dsc. etcetc and is on a good rollercoaster, She is an ex rescue.. i think off the rigs. My question is ... is it best to do the valves & give her Mercury 80 2str a sevice and sell....for about 3.5k - 3.8k or give somebody a bargin at 2950?
What do u guys think? How much is it to have the valves done? service etc?
Is there anyone recommended around Southampton. Or is anyone intrested in it as is?

Ribshop or Stephen RIB (who offers a mobile service) will do the valves. You could even do them your self to save some cash. Inflatable Boat Supplies sell everything you need. If it were me I would be tempted to do the work as its one less thing for the new owner to worry about and I would think would get you a better price.
