From: eBay United Kingdom Customer Support <ukrswebhelp@ebay.com>
Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to write to eBay.

I have reviewed the listings you have brought to our attention. I would
also like to explain eBay's policy with respect to reports like yours.

eBay is not in a position to make judgements about the authenticity or
authorised nature of listings, except in the most extreme circumstances.
This may mean that we cannot remove the item about which you contacted
us, particularly when it is not blatantly clear from the item itself
that it is in some way infringing.

Although you may be extremely knowledgeable about these types of items,
we often cannot remove items upon the representations of third parties
whose credentials we cannot verify, unless of course the alleged
infringement is obvious on its face. That is why we strongly urge you to
notify the rights holder of the suspected infringement and encourage
them to join our Verified Rights Owners (VeRO) Programme. This programme
enables them to request the ending of allegedly infringing listings.

I appreciate your vigilance in helping us to keep inappropriate listings
off eBay. If we can be of any further assistance, please let us know.

I trust that the above information answers your query to your
satisfaction.

Kind regards,
Joe Chrisite
eBay Customer Support

Should we join this program then?

Ebay scam

they were told by the owner of the pics and listing and ebay did nothing.
It does'nt take an idiot to compare the ebay listing and what smalloutboards.com has on their site to figure it out. Waitng on a response from ebay on why they're so incompetent

Thank you for noticing.

We have been dealing with this for years.
Please report this as a fraudulent auction to ebay.
We have tried doing this but they have not reacted yet?

Thanks
Albert.

Ebay scam

I quess not to ebay. It would seem pretty obvious to any moron that serial numbers and photos match up. I don't know how swift your public school system is in the Uk but over here it's getting pretty pathetic. They can't grade papers with a red pen anymore because it hurts the kids feelings. I've pointed out stuff like this to ebay USA before and the items are history. Ebay Uk is another story.

He won't reply

He won't reply to email asking to view.

BE CAREFUL, this guy is VERY clever. DO NOT under any circumstances email him directly-use the ebay message system and hide your email address. He is likely to attempt to hack your ebay account and paypal account if he gains your IP address or email address through a direct email.
