"What do dogs think about whilst cruising in a RIB??"

I reckon something like....

This is really stupid, but as long as I get fed than I won't complain. I suppose I could always chew the tubes...

That's almost a caption competition.

Yeh, we've had 3 dogs and they were all seadogs too.

Edit: oops, I see Richard had the same idea.

The boat lives in an Army camp in Camberley.

It may be moving onto a Royal Navy base in Porstmouth come August.

She is prolly keeping quiet to avoid being thrown overboard at 30 knots.. We have a springer, and haven't dared introduce him to the rib.. Mad git would spend half the time trying to chase the seagulls..

My Springer loves it (I think) she does jump in to retrieve her beloved ball.

We went diving from a large rib at Swanage a few years a go & they had a dog on board, it was a border collie & he loved being on board. He would pick up an empty water bottle & drop it between your feet waiting for you to throw it. If you took no notice he would tap you on the foot once, if you still did nothing he would tap you on the leg twice. If you still done nothing he would tap you on the thigh 3 times, then if you did nothing he would bight your n*** “No, No not really!”
He would go to someone else & start all over again until someone would throw it up the length of the boat. Apparently he has jumped off the boat sometimes when he got a little excited trying to catch the bottle.

I have noticed most dogs seem to love boats - often they seem to stand up at the bow(wow)posing as if to say - keep away this is MY boat!!!

Talking of which, meet KeyMar's on-board security system. Anything above 10kts and she goes to sleep. Below that, well you try getting near me boat

It's a bit like sticking your head out of a window! Why is it dogs love the rush of wind on their face yet when you blow up their nose they go ballistic!?

Our dog is a big angry doberman (not) and she won't set foot on the boat as she crys, whimpers and finally craps herself.

We tend not to take her out anymore.....just too much to clean up!

Hannah, when you take the dog down to the waters edge for a walk ... what does it do? most dogs jump in... most dogs, in my opinion, love boats and love being out on the water.

The easiest way is just to try it
