Dragon engine ? Small aux engine - never seen before. Someone has touched or use it

The company in Poland sell them for 100 GBP.
2 stroke 5 HP. I saw only offer on Polish popular auction service.
92cm length, 12 kg weight.
No reverse. You have to rotate engine back.

They say that it is japan made (company name Dragon ??).
I'm thinking about aux engine but have not space to mount it on transom.

From one site it is low price, from another - another 12 kg on boat and next item to keep in locker

Any thoughts ? Experience ?
I can not find anything on internet about it

Looks the same. This one in Poland cost 4,5 time less ...
Plus it is stated as 5 HP. I'm thinking about aux but maybe have to has trust in my engine (1y old) and have more paddles on board ... just in case

Just out of interest MatfromPoland, what is your own opinion about this type of engine? Even just "on paper"?

As AUX engine looks on paper OK. Maybe will never use it but 12 kg, small price, etc.
Not idea why Polish seller says "Made in Japan". Maybe I will ask him to take the picture with mentioned earlier sentence.

If it be Japan really and price is 500 PLN (1 GBP is about 5,5 PLN) so maybe as an AUX it is good idea. Keep it in locker, mount only in emergency.

But I have 2 Batteries, new engine. Not idea if it is a reason to buy this one even for free ... Another question is ... will it really push 5,4m boat in Sea conditions ...

i would rather spend the 100 notes on a pair of oars. i would bet you would need them anyway with that thing.........

If you right click an image in Google Chrome you can search for it (you can do the same manually in other browsers by saving and uploading). this reveals your image is from a Chinese manufacturer.

I think £100 is too good to be true. Ignoring the emissions issue for a moment, if it was Japanese quality, 5hp, new with a credible warranty I'd have one as an Aux. When you need an Aux you really need it to be reliable.
