Dusseldorf Boat Show

A group of us attended this show in January.
It is, in our opinion, one of the better shows available to the public with halls of (respectively) motor boats, yachts, canoes and sea kayaks, engines, accessories and ribs. The show covered some 7/8 halls each several times the size of a football pitch. It costs E10 to get in and we flew from the Isle of Man, via Manchester to Dusseldorf AND return for £148 each.
Here are some pix:
1 and 2 diesel outboards. Only 50hp at the moment but larger promised.
3 John Bievelsheuvel's rib with shock proof console for the driving team and individual seats for pax.
4 John's shock seats
5 A tasty tender for your gin palace

It was a great show, no crowds mid-week with no queues to view.
I was especially impressed by the new generation of Scandinavian all weather boats Paragon, XO, Axopar etc. Are they the future of coastal cruising ?
All this with cool Pils and schnitzels......great.
