You must be thinking of another PeterR Carter as I can honestly say i do not beleive in you and thats the reason your new tubes where removed from my boat all those years ago.For a professoinal i would have thought cutting making and fitting tubes is not rocket science or even hard so i could never understand how you managed to do so many awfull jobs have things got any better

So Ribeye don't exist and Paul Tilley is just a figment of my imagination

I too have a rib that Ed has made - and don't have a problem with him, but sweeping statement like the above can sometimes be misleading

Collected the retubed rib......

Just to let everybody know that I have finally picked my Carson rib. Its a shame that Ed didn't wait and take the pics until after the deck had been painted.
I've read the threads and all the comments.
OK, the initial communications were very slow to zero to get going. Once he confirmed that he would honour the ebay retube things moved along. I work overseas for long periods of time so trying to tie in with him and his work schedule was tricky. Ed was himself working overseas for a stint. Finally it all came together two weeks ago.
The work that he has done has been of good quality. I know that I will see replys telling me to watch out for the glue etc.....
All I can say is that he has honoured the deal, even during the financial crisis. I can't complain as I was away making a living and then he was away working I've got respect for anyone who chases work, in whichever Country.
To sum it up, I got a retube done for a grand. I'm happy.
