Early start of season?

South Finland was yesterday isolated from rest of the country(can not cross the "border" unless essential biz, all rods in and out are monitored). Within, you can still move freely but obviously keeping health/safety in mind.

Usually starts the Rib season only in June but now that everything else is basically totally closed will (weather and regulation permitting) try to get out with the rib mid April. Never done it before.....Winter was very mild, no snow no ice so this spring its possible. Today fired up my yam 90 after winter sleep and started immediately like always.

Will for sure be no one at the ramp and the uninhabited island will go to will also be 100 % free of crowd. There are a lot of nice spots within allowed area, only risk involved is that if getting technical issues there will be no other boats.

If peoples movements will be further restricted then this will obviously not utilize, but still looking good. Need to have +5 C, don't wont to take risk at a slippery ramp, the one close to home is relatively steep, will not work well in icy conditions. Need also to change to summer tyres, the trailer has only summer tyres and its not allowed to drive mixed tyres( car and trailer). Keeping fingers crossed this will utilize!
