Hi all. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. It is currently snowing in West Dorset/East Devon, and temperatures here have struggled to get above freezing all week. If you are venturing this way over the weekend, bring your sledge instead of your boat!

Was planning on Loch Lomond whilst up to see the folks at Easter but I can't really justify a 500 mile round trip with the weather as it is. Massively pissed off, i've got a new prop to play with.

I'm off the Argyll in the morning to say hello to me 'baby' and take the wraps of her to start the process of getting her ready... oh and BTW I am also going to open up the caravan. One good forecast no wind so 'wind-chill' will be low!!!!!

Sorry to set this one off folks. Loved the image from Spartacus - it just about sums up the situation! My toys are still in hibernation as well, so it's a problem for all of us. The attached image is Lyme Regis beach on Sunday, and the same weekend last year!

Boat is currently under 6/8 foot of snow.
Last 4 day the road to Red Bay was blocked with snow - drifting up to 12 feet.

I am hoping for Donegal and hoping that XCWeather is wrong for once and that a Force 4/5 wind is not blowing (in the Atlantic!! - not happy ) AND that the temp is above the predicted high of 7C on Sunday with a 4C and 25mph wind on Monday !!!!

Looks like I will be working in the shed fitting the new bilge pump and not getting her out of it all weekend
