Easter weather

Don't you just love an early Easter....

All I need is 3-4hours of dry, ambient weather to finish putting a nice protective couple of layers of hypertech on Lunasea's now clean tubes and all I've had for 2 days is rain!

Still with family commitments in Gloucester over Easter, at least we've not been on the roads today - which from what I've heard on the radio have been even worse then usual for a Good Friday.

With luck, weather and roads wil both be better when we head down to S. Devon next weekend.

The plan here was a sweet little run today or Monday. Today it's too wet to be out and Monday isn't looking better.

That said, 3 or 4 hours of dry and we're out there

Forecast for NE Scotland doesn't look too bad. Hoping to be out tomorrow. Days are getting longer, so just a matter of time for you guys.

Well, took the windows of opportunity today - between prepping the roast, waiting for the in-laws to arrive, cooking lunch, in-laws departing, and it clouding over and begining to rain, managed to finish getting the Hypatec on the tubes ready for next weekend

Just as well as the forecast tomorrow is pants.

Yup..Loch Goil looks great Jeff

I had a cracker of a day a bit further north. It was very cold at 8am and I was breaking ice on the sea lochs again.

But by mid day Loch Leven was a bit of a heat sink too

Yellow snow warning for tomorrow again though. Just got to make the best of it when the winds drop.

Well done to everyone who took the weather window and got out today. looks like good conditions out there but maybe a bit chilly.

Starting tipping down with rain within an hour of me finishing the tubes, so lucky really to hve been able to complete. Week at work then week off, by which time I hope spring will have hit S. Devon, and will have some good days out Dartmouth or Brixham.
