It wouldn't have happened with a 4 stroke, the torque caused it.

Nice to laugh at someone else , did something similar last year after first getting the boat,in my eagerness to go out fishing I couldn't wait for the tide to come in so launched on what was an ok slip at the start but was like ice at the bottom, anyway launched boat and trailer into the sea , 2 foot drop off at the end of the slip made recovery of the trailer very hard , old timer showed me the trick of using a rope around the ball hitch for difficult launches in future... ☺️
