Seriously though, he must only keep doing it as the rewards are far better than the punishment. And while that is the case he will keep doing it.

Humility and reconciliation is not on his radar and he seems to invite conflict so I may oblige.
I think Sarah Cooper is his mother.
Whoever she is she needs to stop enabling her con merchant of a son to keep trading.

It will cost £60 to transfer up, and that gets added to his bill along with bailiffs costs.

If he genuinely has nothing then it probably won't help. A High Court bailiff will almost certainly do a better attempt at finding what he has got though.

And cause him more grief - £60 well spent I think!

I doubt she knows she's even a director.

If the company is employing him then you should be able to get the CCJ arrested from his earnings. If the company don't do this then they become liable for his debt instead. Its just about the easiest way for the bailiff to get your money for you.

I wish I had seen this thread earlier!

On the 28th of last month he won my outboard on eBay, he is still yet to pay but Ive paid all the Final Value Seller Fees to the tune of £50 odd.

Ive started a case against him to try and recover my lost fees.

Hes a proper little trader with 100% feedback.

It seems I have just been paid by the above Mr Ben Cooper

Coincedence? I doubt it.

We were contacted by the police this week because Daniel Cooper made a complaint to them about this thread.

I had a very interesting chat with a police officer who made it absolutely clear that they do not have a problem with anything that anyone has posted here.

Suffolk Police would, however, be interested to hear from anyone who still has outstanding problems with Mr Cooper. They can't prosecute him for running his business badly, but they will take action if they consider that he is acting illegally.

The number to call is 01473 613500 (or dial 101 and ask for Suffolk), and ask to be put through to the Crime Investigation Bureau who are familiar with Mr Cooper having had dealings with him previously.

I believe he's told the police he owns the business by the way... Might be worth those with outstanding CCJs investigating.

I have an "unsatisfied" CCJ for £350 for a crock outboard. After he seemed to do a runner and not pay it I had little choice but to have it repaired at a cost £450. He now wants it back for the original £350 four years later !!!
how logical is that?
And he is still in business with a CCJ against him !

I wonder if he's just realised quite how big a mistake he made in gong to the police?

Does the CCJ stipulate you've got to give it him back if he gives you the money back? It'd hardly be fair if you've spent that much on it.

Damn - I was seduced to buy on ebay a short block for my 90hp Yamaha :

eBay: Neue und gebrauchte Elektronikartikel, Autos, Kleidung, Sammlerst

Price 749,-GBP

Contacted the seller to ask for more information . Suddenly the auction ended .
My quesiton to the seller was answered "that I was interested"
But suddenly PayPal was also not accepted anymore ! Only credit cards ..
I kept my fingers off ..

Today I have seen that the same block is on ebay again for just 499,-GBP ..

eBay: Neue und gebrauchte Elektronikartikel, Autos, Kleidung, Sammlerst

Found out just in time that this guy is very well know in the UK ...

Cheers Jürgen

Just as a point of interest for those who have obtained CCJ's against this person, that unless you have paid (£50 I think) to the Court to have the CCJ registered it won't appear on his credit file, and thus others who do a search against him won't find anything detrimental, and may end up with an issue. A little quirk of the CCJ system I'm afraid.
