Although you wouldn't want to do something like... say... warn him that bailiffs may be on the way round just in case he moves premises and doesn't tell anyone!

No response
I have still not received my goods from Daniel Cooper, he claims that they were posted. I have not received anything and asked him for proof of postage which he has not come back with...I have even done as he requested by responding to the e-mail address on this thread that he supplied for anyone that has a problem to contact him on. Guess what?....no reply. If this was a genuine mistake as he claims most of his problems are then he has had enough chances now to prove this to me and refund my money. This guy has no intention of returning my money and it really annoys me that people can get away with this, it may not seem a lot to him but it is to me and even more importantly it is the principal of the matter.
How many other people have been a victim of this man...? and how can it be stopped...?

Try calling him
Try < Edit: Contact details deleted. More information here. JK > first, most likely to get an answer.
or one of his many mobile numbers:
e.g 07914 468315
If you want to send a letter: < Edit: Contact details deleted. More information here. JK >
I'm still waiting for a reply from him, but paying him a visit, as Nos4r2 suggested, looks to be the most likely way to get your refund.
He's off ebay now, he now has a container of dodgy goods he can't shift, wonder what his next idea is?

You can't shut this guy down over there? I'm surprised if you don't have a good remedy at hand. The Virgin Islands have the worst consumer protection on the planet but fraud of any type which includes not delivering mdse paid for or uttering a bad check will get one more jail time than a physical assault!
Just wondering........

Well if you are going to put the boot in you may as well do it properly. Drop a line to his local Inland Revenue. Afterall since he is running a business he will have registered as a sole trader with the IR and completed an annual tax return plus paid the National Insurance contributions, won't he . Oh and a copy to Customs and Execise, so they can check any VAT laibility on turnover of over £60k pa. Even if the IR don't investigate immediately if they just make a note he won't know if they are investigating in the future.

Still in the process of getting my money back.
Dan seemed a little pissed off in his latest reply, although I did ask him what his situation with the tax man was, and did warn him I may be feeling a little spiteful.

I've just had 2 MORE emails from people who've been ripped off-to the tune of £750ish EACH. This guy has stolen a lot of money.

He was advertising a Mariner 60 four stroke, for almost £3000, hope nobody paid for that! If he actually had the outboard I wonder where it came from? Along with his stock of propellers etc.

Well, large parcel just arrived.
We got there in the end, 3 months late. Still yet to check the outboard, I'll get the wheeelie bin out later.
Obviously he still owes people outboards, but be persistant. I did have to get a little bit agressive in my last few emails. Give him deadlines!!! Mine was tommorow before I got intouch with the tax man, the courts, or came and collected the refund!!
He is still a crook, and if your not persistant he won't make any attempt to provide you with a refund or what he owes you. Hopefully he will send everyone else what he owes them.
Thanks to RIB.net members, I would not have got anywhere with him if it wasn't for everyone who has helped!
