Well... He's paid up when he's been told to by a court order.
Personally I'd go and get it-you can at least demand money back face to face then if it doesn't exist.

Now now.... We don't advocate violence here-he gets all upset and postulates about legal action.
I'd be surprised if no-one has belted him yet though.

Dan Cooper strikes again!!
This brain dead pillock would appear to have taken me for a ride with a 70 merc engine! All his usual tricks seem to have been played! At the moment i have hsbc, barclaycard and office of fair trading looking into the case!
Will court action wake up this nob? Or is a personal visit a better option??
Also has anyone seen this Prick???

Out of interest, which website was it purchased via?
Go and get it if you're close enough.
As a quick update, he's currently trading on Boats and Outboards as Norfolk Boat and Outboard Centre.
He's trading on Ebay as :-

Boat_Sales_Norfolk
Theoutboardshop

Dan Cooper
Interesting character Mr. C. The link to his trading site was through boatsandoutboards.co.uk and he is trading as Norfolk Boat and Outboard Centre. Trouble is he doesn't answer the phone or provide the goods after you've paid. Technically that makes him a thief nothing more nothing less. Maybe he should be forced to talk to the rozzers about this!! Still i'm quite sure what goes around comes around.

My mother has met him.....he didn't want her to go to his place to collect an engine for me, he insisted that they met in the Macro carpark.

Well... I seem to have attracted a crank caller who made some very descriptive remarks about the kind of person he thinks I am.His voice sounds strangely familiar. I hope it isn't who it sounds like as the police are being informed and will be retrieving the withheld phone number from my service provider and if at all possible I will be pressing charges.
Of course, I couldn't possibly comment on who it sounds like but he doesn't know that he recently had a conversation with me...

I don't get this at all.
Why would the police in your area go to so much time and trouble investigating a crank caller and analysing mobile phone records when you said in another thread that the police won't even attend a dangerous situation of youths letting off fireworks where someone could be killed.
Are priorities getting a bit skewed here?

The police don't have to turn up while the crime's taking place to trace a mobile call and they are far more interested in soft targets that make for easy clear-ups and massage the figures. Might as well take advantage of it...

Where is my money!!!!
Had a returned call from "Dan the boat man" yesterday, said he had returned £100 of my deposit, reminded him it was actually £200!! Checked my account and surprise suprise nothing been credited!! Think court action is needed here!!
Hope he manages to read this and actually does something about it before i waste £30 on county court action!!

You won't waste it-you'll get your £30 back as well as any other reasonable costs.
