eBay scammers

Hi everyone I’ve been looking for a rib for a few months now I’m In no mad rush to buy unless the right on turn up at the right price
So I regularly check eBay and other sites the same boats keep on turning up and then get relisted again under another name and location Click image for larger version

that one was listed from redcar a month or so back I messaged the seller who wanted to sell it to me for less than the bidding was at .I replied asking if I could view it as redcar was only a few miles from where I live he replied with a repeat of his first reply .when we googled businesses that were in the background of one of the pics they were in Southampton

It’s a mine field out there il be careful and do my homework
Has Any idea of others site I can check other than eBay gumtree and of course here

That’s been removed now but I’ve seen it for sale four times in the last week so expect to see it up for sale again soon

same rules buying anywhere though

Most scams rely on you being gullible enough to send money before you see the item
I find the quickest way to suss out a scam is to say when can I come see it or can I get my pal who lives local to take a look most just go quiet at that stage

Why not look to buy from a reputable Brokerage? That way you will be sure the boat exists, is as described and has the correct paperwork.
