Boats come and go - you get to keep the memories.

Dry your eyes and start making plans for that new channel buster of yours

As Willk says... 'Dry yer eyes'.

Onwards and upwards. You'll be tell us next you've ploughed £60k into a second-hand Princess motor yacht with an electric anchor.

I suspect first boat is a bit like first car; special place in the heart even though the ones that come after are all 'better' strictly speaking.

Looking forward to picking her up next weekend and hoping to get out on the strait in April. First service is apparently at 20hrs so we'll probably do the trip to Lough Derg in May before the first service. ERR is out again this year due to dates, we'll have to make a special effort for next year!

Another "two best days in a boat owners life"

The first is always special until you get enough time on the new one. My fist bait is living out its days on Lake Tahoe. My friends send me pictures when they see it.

You can come and visit her anytime!

I got her settled in at her new home. You are right about the rig towed her back fine, bit boring on the motorway doing 50mph then got home and Googled and found I could do 60mph!
