Engine hours....

They say, and in my experience, boats average 100 hours a year. I actually did more than average, about 140 hours.

But not having RIB experience - apart from looking now ! - is this the same for RIBS?

Discounting any charter use/coded boats, purely leisure use.

Thanks.

I did a search but didn't see that, infact I didn't find anything that detailed.

So, it's "about" the same then. I thought the average would have been higher, maybe I'm a high user, bit like my car miles!

Cheers

When I bought my Rib it was 5 years old ( been stored under cover in a barn for about 4 of the years) had 77 hours on print out, along what % of time the engine was running at which throttle position

Mmm thanks - the print out was supplied by the seller, or independent surveyor/engine engineer?

I do about 100 hours p/a at the moment mainly cause we have 2 littleuns that take priority, if I was still a bachelor I reckon I would be doing double that at least.
