Engine protection bar

Does anyone know if there's an engine protection bar available for Zodiac Pro 420? I've seen bars on bigger ribs, but not 420.

No, however that's not to say you couldn't get something made up bespoke. Zodiac don't even make an A frame for the 420 - but I've seen it done. What's the reason for the engine protection bar, is the engine vulnerable where it's moored?

Cheers - any suggestions on makers of bespoke bars? We're on hols on River Dart and the Evinrude 40 on the back is getting occasional bashes and rubs from other users of the public pontoon that the boat is moored on.

Try the Ribeye suggestion first. Something off the shelf is going to be cheaper than going down bespoke route. However you could speak to Jan Boulter at Marine Fabricators (Staffordshire). They do lots of stainless steel work, so an engine protection bar would be straight forward. You'll need to supply measurements and template - including how it's to be attached, etc. They make the lightpoles for Avon Mil/Pro range - so you know their stuff is the dog's danglies!
