Yep, silver cowl and black leg. They are great engines, I had one on a 5.3m SIB and it flew

The prop feels wrong, but not had chance to check the pitch yet as been immobile for a few days (age and foolishness catching up on me!)

Sorry for the lack of updates, been working away too much to get any boat stuff done at home

I hitched a ride in an identical boat with a 4/S 15HP and it was hugely a different experience, so that confirms my setup if not right. Not been able to determine the prop's specs yet and also not removed the keel guard yet

The thought of going down to a slightly smaller HP is still tempting me, as the 15 on the sister vessel was more than sprightly even with 2 up

Until you do those two things and also find out what rpm your running at, you'll never know what the cause of the problem is.
