I am new to RIBs, but I know from hill walking and kayaking that kids (in particular) get cold easily, especially if wet. Definitely worth carrying one TPA (thermal protective aid) for each person on board - they are cheap and take up very little space. I also suggest some sweets or chocolate for a quick boost to blood sugar.
