I think Babcock gave up disposal sales a couple of years ago. Try the following for MOD boat sales

Down at Saxon Wharf there were several ex - MOD ribs in the racking with for sale signs attached. They were Pacific 22/23ft craft with Sternpower legs. This is only down the road from Bapcocks depot so there may have been a connection.

I dont know if you have a preference but Ribs are also available from supply ships when there deck gear is upgraded,

As above they are now the official contractor for mod smallcraft. They use Babcocks old storage facility (itchen Marine) .

Ribs appear every few weeks on this site.

Alternatively there are two ex MOD Police 5.4m Avon hulls sat in Lymington looking for new owners.

I did have a sniff around the yard in Lymington abd thats not a sales outlet aparently its a repair facilty for the MOD, I did get a nice fringe benefit from my enquiries however!

Ramco are the boys what do the MOD disposals. I have three 5.4's at the moment Burning love is near finished then on to Iko Iko (twin 40's)

About 2 years ago it was really easy to pick one up but it's not so easy nowadays.

I'm desperate to buy one that needs retubing if anyone sees one around!
