Ex Sunsail charter Cobra for sale

Just saw this :

http://www.sunsail.com/yachtsales/us..._id=29984&url=

A Picton Cobra 655 1995 with new tubes, and a Mariner 90. Needs a bit of tlc but must be good value at £4500.

Im contemplating buying a yacht with this crowd. Seems a good place to buy a boat if you dont mind tidying it up a bit!

Yes does look cheap, recon those wheeling and dealing students will be crawling all over it shortly, its those grants again

Engine looks like an extra long leg to suite the high transom, should help stop the slop from going over the back of the boat.

As a poor old retailer sold as seen means just that
You have seen it and and purchased it.
It means nothing in the courts if they sell you a duff boat you have recourse
though the courts and as its under £5000 you can do it though the small claims court.if its sold as good then taking into account its age wear and tare it sounds goog value.

Sunsail Cobra

Hi Guy's & Doll's

It's been a while since i have been on ribnet nice to back!

However, I can speak on pesonal experience I use to work for them and reguarly drove this boat.

Tubes were built and fitted by Windsor Marine in Portchester. Engine is not at its best however, used on a daily basis to run around the Solent helping out any yatch that had broken down. Hull was structually sound last time i used it.

For the money it would make a good project if somone has the time.

Regards
