I can't weld Ali (wish I could), so had if our crew (who is an excellent welder) modify the centre section to clear an access hatch for the fuel tank.... Looks great now it's all powder coated black.... Awaiting reupholstery.... Lightweight, allows water off deck (arctic has low transom) and fits the look if the boat really well

Fitted the new treadmaster deck..... After a ling chat with tiflex we went for their new ultra grip.... It's made on a roll, so not straight edged when it arrives.... For someone as picky as me was a lot of a phaff to fit, and whilst when cured the epoxy glue is super tough (test piece pulled face off the ply along with the epoxy costing before it let go!), it's a bit of a pug to ensure it holds fast for cure.... After a bit of experimenting we found that allowing it to tack up for better grab (versus ease of working out trapped air) the best solution.... That all said, it worked out very well and looks great....

Powder coating back from shop, refitted stainless /Ali deck kit, a frame, hatches, sponson rail mounts etc. my fav addition has been the anodised aluminium T bar which pushes (with a spike to grip) into the sika flex joint between the removeable deck panels..... Looks really neat I think.... And holds in really well as it has an arrow head profile in the down stand to ensure it grips in the adhesive....

Pulled it out of the big shed for a proper look before moving it back into the workshop..... Very pleased with the outcome.... Refitting console, seats etc soon, but have a full week of charter away from home so will have to wait till we return.....
