Thanks for all the kind words

Just got back home after sorting out absolutely loads with Nigel and everything is moving at the speed of light....

I am absolutely made up with this fantastic opportunity and can't wait to place my own order for a Vipermax 6.5 I'll do a build thread so you lot can see it being built

It's great being partners with Nigel as he has such a wealth of business experience from the marine world inc overseeing £60m of new builds and £40m worth of refits, on top of this he has also been a superyacht Captain.

I'm looking forward to sharing a few beers with you guys and girls on the up coming cruises, but in the mean time......

Here's to the continuation of something special

Sounds like quite a project, congratulations!

Will you both be full time? Who've you got lined up to do the fitting out?

Thanks John

Yes full time, will be bit of a shock after having a few months off. We have quite a busy time ahead !

Fit out will be completed by us to a high standard at our premises. Im used to detail and therefore the Ospreys will not be leaving the premises unless we would be happy to own them ourselves

Full address to follow but for now we can be contacted on

Wow I thought you had been quiet recently Alex!

Nigel as you know I think your boat looks great and have no doubt with both your skills and enthusiasm you will turn this into a successful venture. Wishing you both all the best in this exciting new chapter.

Best of luck with this.

Will the new company be a dealership for any particular brand of engine?

I guess this means Whisper won't want to know about the sr I'm minutes away from buying?

Can I come visit when you're set up?

Need a tea boy?

I'm really pleased to hear that the brand will be continuing and is in the hands of some proper ribbing enthusiasts just as Roy was. I'm positive you'll keep up the good reputation that Osprey has accrued over the years and also maintain the flexibility to allow custom orders and even bareboat sales for home fit out.

Thanks again for the words of encouragement and yes we will be continuing and encouraging custom orders and self builds. What's more we will be on hand to offer help and advice with projects

I was wondering this also as it's so rare to find a good manufacturer of RIBs that will operate this way. So it's reassuring to see that Osprey will be supporting project builds and bare hull/tube bespoke purchases.
