me too best of luck Its a top class product so you should do well

re that Falcon 8.2 I always thought it was a perfect size for a small commercial boat/pilot Rib. I remember suggesting to Mike that a wheelhouse would be an asset. Do you have any plans for that?

I would explain but people might think I was Osprey bashing. If you want an answer then ask Mike the builder of the RIBs from whom "not really a leisure boat" is a direct quote.

Does that translate as "I don't know, but it's something I heard someone else say"?

No, I simply don't want to get drawn into a discussion that could be construed as negative when this thread has been set up to let the "massif" know about the latest goings on with the brand and most likely offer their good wishes to the new parties involved.

I formed my opinion on the Falcon in no small part due to Mike's, and I certainly bow to his superior knowledge. That his statement fits with everything else I have read and heard about the model and what I can draw myself from the specs is clearly not co-incidental.

Nigel / Alex, I don't personally know you but I would like to say congratulations and good luck with a fantastic brand and boat.

I do know Mike having been introduced via another ribnobber and have seen his impressive hulls, work (grafts very hard) and is such a nice guy who has my recommendations!

Couldn't think of two better people to take the reins. Best of luck with this venture. I know what my next boat will be. Look forward to catching up soon.

Best of luck, both of you. It has been great to be able to help Mike keep things ticking over during the last few months and I would like to thank RIBnet for providing such a great platform for Osprey to thrive on, the Trade membership is certainly worth is weight in gold !

I look forward to seeing some great builds in future !

How exciting!! Admire your courage and faith in the brand, It will work this time if whispers boat was anything to go by. but no big fan-fair and intro this time as surely this is something to be proud of.

Bin taken over again Neil back in May. As its such an iconic British brand, Hope it goes from strength to strength with some fresh new ideas. Whispers boat was superb ,handled really well and enjoyed driving it.
