Eye protection

Just interested to know what others use for eye protection other than sunglasses when going for a blast in the boat. I've got a decent pair of sunglasses with a removable gasket and head strap but they're really uncomfortable round my eyes when I've had them on for more than half an hour but they have to be reasonably snug fitting to keep out water. I'm sure I've seen some folk wearing ski goggles or similar! Anyone got any suggestions as to what sort of goggles are best.

Cheers

In summer i use proper Sunglasses, in winter ski goggles.
Though, I'm getting myself some face protection too soon, because goggles aren't really much use in the rain.

I just use some bloc safety glasses. They work well, and are nice and cheap.

Eye Protection

I have used a pair of Aldi ski goggles for 2 years without fogging. No need for an expensive pair. Add a russian furry cap and you are protected against wind noise, cold, rain.

I should have known

Personally I wear a pair of polarised sunglasses on a floaty neckcord.

I have had to reach down, grab my scuba mask, and put it on a few times. Usually during a very wet ride, or when it is raining hard.

Ceibe (or however you spell it!) saftey glasses - they are sufficiently "wraparound" to keep the rain out the eyeballs, but not so tight that they fog up. Tried a few different pairs, but these ones do the job nicely.

I found Ski goggles started to irritate my face once the foam seals had become nicely salinated.....
