Hi,
We will be coming accross from Poole with 2 ribs on Saturday afternoon & staying in Dartmouth.
Any suggestions for the best place to watch the racing?

Hi Steve
I'll get plenty of shots and post a few on here. Brambles, do you mean you'll be going down to Plymouth on Saturday afternoon?

Hi,
We are staying in Dartmouth, because we thought it would be difficult to find accomodation in Plymouth on Saturday night. The boats should be there by about 6pm.
Unfortunately due to work commitments on Saturday I will probably have to get the train & meet them in Dartmouth.

Surprisingly, I had no problem find accomodation at all, on the hoe itself, in one of the blue rinse B&B's.

Ribraff, what boat will you be on? We will keep an eye out for you.
Matt, will you be out on your boat?
If anyone else is on the water on Sat/Sun please come over & say hello - we will have a grey Scorpion & a yellow Revenger.

Brambles
My girlfriend and i will be in my boat, a 6m Shakespeare with blue and white 2 tone tubes and Olmec Tubing written down the side. I'll look out for you
We're staying in Plymouth on saturday night as there is a party in the evening, we managed to get a room at the New continental, apparently there's a wedding on so it might be a bit noisy but we got a good deal!

There's a really good bistro/winebar right by the inshore leg turnbouy, get there early and you can grab a seat on the wall, enjoy a few cold beers and an excellent lunch!!!

Do you mean "The Waterfront"? Pink or Peach coloured, can't remember which. If so, the food had gone right downhill last time we visited.

Two grand! Mat?? Holy Sh*t!
You want to get a rib mate!!! We will use about £200 of fuel for our round trip
And we can go at 46 knts
And we can go out in a Force 8
And we have got built in fenders for berthing
And we have all got bad backs
And shares in Musto
Have I missed anything?? Hope you enjoy the weekend!

Whilst spectating, try not to get this close though - having to hide the camera extremely quickly to stay dry with a white thing bombing past at 100+mph is certainly different
