Lotto
I am pretty sure it’s the same boat mate, I don’t this there is that many FB 38’s in Norway.
Back when this boat was made the 5.8 yanies where 420hp, so I think whoever posted the youtube video got his/her facts wrong…
Hmmm, really nice goldfish…those seats look interesting…wonder what they are like at high speed? Looking forward to seeing the 36 starting around Britain next Saturday!

Anyone recognise those bolsters in the Goldfish?

Fairly shore they are not made by Goldfish but would be interested in who does make them.

The SBS are using Buzzi 'rapid insertion' craft which will do 70mph fully loaded apparently.
Also, I read that Bush has asked the SBS nicely if they'll 'go get' Bin Laden before Bush leaves office. Musarref has reluctantly given permission for them to comb the Mountains on the Afghan/Pakistan boarder.

A couple of years back I looked over the Buzzi boats 3 engined troop rapid response carriers based around the 40' hull my mate enjoyed thrashing them although he mainly used the wave piercer which was great in the rough stuff, better than the ribs for maintaining speed when the going gets tough

Yes I agree reliability could pose a problem another friend years back regularly worked on the one's I mention which were the 630-650hp units detuned to try for reliability and their were 3 to each Buzzi boat

I had the opportunity to make a 10 minutes run in a Buzzi rib, driven by Fabio Buzzi, during a Genoa boat show - possibly in '94 ? - and it was a great experience.

The boat had 2xSeatek engines, the sea was far from quiet, at least 1.5metre waves, and we were running to 60 knots like in a bed !

Great !

mollers - that is "Gen 2" in the picture - gone now.... only the grey ones left here - and you wont get more than 60kts out of them - altho exceptional in the weather :-)

all they need now is ullman's and soundproofing in them and it might be comfortable and fast and quiet....... but then again..... maybe not?

Nice Vid .. but why 'o' why do folks want the sound of death/thrash metal when they could be listening to those engines all the time ..that is proper music
