Hello Max,

The Falcon ribs are produced in South Africa. The 700RSR is based quite closely on their racing boat. The 700RSR is rated up to 225HP and can carry 1400kg.

I have owned several Falcon RIB's and have always found them to be well constructed and reliable.

Sir, I can only speak from my own experiance. The Gentleman did ask what anybody KNEW about these boats. As I DO have personal knowlege (as opposed to heresay) of the boats I answered.

I have never managed to break one of the Falcon boats that I have owned. All my boats where employed as diveboats Surf Launching from the beaches in North Eastern South Africa (Sodwana, Kozi bay, St Lucia) and Mozambique. My boats have also done duty for recreational fishing, launching into the Atlantic right up the South West Coast of Africa into Angola. If you have never experianced a surf launch into the high energy surf we get down here, then I can only suggest that you ask somebody who has.

How many of Falcons boats have you managed to break?

You will notice that I give the good Mr. Max the benefit of the doubt by calling him a gentleman.

You will also find that I gave you the same distinction by calling you Sir....

So far.... :-p
